Here in NJ, the county Board of Elections have computerized voting rolls. If Dill had tried her trick up here, her absentee vote would have been recorded and if she had tried to vote again (e.g, 24-48 hours after voting absentee), the computer would have advised poll workers not to let her vote on the machines. They would have allowed her to vote by provisional ballot if she insisted. And her provisional ballot would have been subsequently invalidated when the two votes would have been discovered.
