This might be the best video I've seen explaining how we got into our current situation and also says how to resolve it [View all]

I'm not a political expert by any means so tell me if this is nonsense but it made sense to me. If it's nonsense, I'll delete it.

It sort of uses The Prince as an explanation of what we've got today - Why the Most Foolish People End up in Power. It's nearly 30 minutes long but I thought it was worth it. YMMV
