This might be the best video I've seen explaining how we got into our current situation and also says how to resolve it

I'm not a political expert by any means so tell me if this is nonsense but it made sense to me. If it's nonsense, I'll delete it.

It sort of uses The Prince as an explanation of what we've got today - Why the Most Foolish People End up in Power. It's nearly 30 minutes long but I thought it was worth it. YMMV

I think about this topic all the time. Wonder what is wrong with the system that we get someone like Bush Junior and Trump.

I probably haven't read "The Prince" in about 50 years; I don't even seem to have a copy on my bookshelf. If I do, it's filed in the wrong area.

This said, again, the argument, for as much as I got through with the time I have, seems reasonable.
