44. In our local meat veggie produce shop the majority of fresh items are imported.

They identify the origin of everything. Most of the beef is from Mexico, USDA Angus, but from Mexico. Most fruits & veggies are imported too.

The one meat I know isn't imported is alligator, that's from Louisiana or Florida, & last week they were out which really disappointed me because I wanted to make gator steaks.

You're right about cheese, I think we're still paying a 25% tariff on imported Italian cheese that Trump put into effect during his first term. I couldn't find any evidence that it was ever repealed. There's nothing like real gorgonzola or parmigiano reggiano, so we pay it.
