We have a deep bench though is there is...Govs Pritzker, Moore, Beshear, Whitmer (although some are disappointed in the greeting of trump on the tarmac). There's also Gov. Newsom, but some think him being from deep blue California is a negative. I like Rep. Jamie Raskin too but the jump from rep. to presidential candidate is a long shot.

Frankly, and this is controversial, a white male candidate takes away a good portion of trump or Vances support with the white, male working class who went bigly for trump.
