Elizabeth Warren brings her White House campaign to Columbus on Friday [View all]

Nearly 10 months remain until Ohio’s presidential primary, but Democrat Elizabeth Warren is pressing her case for the presidency with a town-hall visit to Columbus.
The senator from Massachusetts will speak at 6:45 p.m. Friday at Starling K8, a Columbus City Schools building at 145 S. Central Ave. The doors will open at 5:45 p.m.
Warren’s Columbus visit will follow a Friday afternoon appearance at an AMVETS hall in Chillicothe and be followed by a Cincinnati stop on Saturday morning
Warren, an unapologetic liberal, is among 21 candidates seeking the Democratic presidential nomination, including U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Niles, to oppose President Donald Trump, the likely Republican nominee, in 2020.
