but if democrats fail to embrace the message which Bernie has pushed, we will, again, relegate ourselves to also-ran status. We cannot persist if we coast along, accepting the casual corruptions of power as acceptable practice, and hope to retain a loyal voting block. Nor should we accept being overruled by our 'betters' whose purpose seems to always wind up functioning as a backstop for the status-quo, a firewall against a passion for justice 'going too far'. This democracy must always be in a state of revolution/evolution or else it's not a democracy at all. Electoral success and complacency are not necessarily synonymous.
