I can only describe the thing at the upper right of the screen I'm currently looking at (and it's probably important to note that I'm currently on my desktop computer. I don't go on-line on my phone.) and it's labelled "open application menu." It's been a while since I've had that reduction of type size when scrolling down, so I might also be mis-remembering my fix.
I know how incredibly frustrating these kinds of things are.
I like to say that, with all due respect, I long ago decided that monotheism doesn't really explain things. I say that there are clearly other things -- deities, gods, whatever -- that control many things in our lives. For instance, it's clear to me that the technology gods do not like me, and often will not work correctly for me. When I do contact some kind of tech support, after a bit those technology gods let tech support do their thing. Until the next time. However, the parking gods ADORE me. I always get good parking spaces, and if I'm simply a passenger in your car and you normally don't get a good parking space? Trust me, you'll get a good one. Examples: I was attending a popular lecture at the Lensic Theater in downtown Santa Fe, and as I drove up, someone pulled out of the parking space directly across from the theater. Of course I took it. Another time I drove into the parking garage also across from the theater, even though there was a "Full" sign posted. As I drove up, someone pulled out of a good parking space.
Most stories aren't quite that dramatic, but I always get a good parking space. And I always say, "Thank you Parking Gods." I don't ever want them to think I take those good spaces for granted.
