Went to some trouble to find a place where I would not be disturbed by well-meaning people.

It was very refreshing and got me settled back down again. Very necessary sometimes. But people will think it's weird. "Why aren't you doing anything?" But of course, I am doing something.

Loner is a relative term, I think, it doesn't necessarily mean you want to have no people at all in your life, just less, sometimes.
