I belong to a liberal Christian book club sponsored by Faithful America. We are currently reading the book written by Obery M. Hendricks Jr.
Jesus is taught as a meek, mild individual almost powerless against the Romans. He was anything but that. He saw the rigged and abusive system for what it was. He came to teach the people they needed to hold each other's needs as sacred. Arguably he was the first Democrat.
