They will discuss it, but it never seems to be the focus.
The first book I ever read on any magick was Embracing the Moon by Yasmine Galenorn (As part wolf I was drawn tot he large moon on the cover 
). From there I worked through the bibliography, choosing based on what I was looking for at the time. I wish I could offer more help as to being able to name a few definite books for you to check out. It has been years, but my copy of 'Practical Solitary Magic' by Nancy B. Watson has a bunch of notes (my pencil marks and so forth), indicating to me that it led me on many good searches and places to look.
Generally speaking, I find the bibliographies to be one of the more useful things in the books. Even a book that didn't tell me anything about what I wanted to know has a chance of pointing me to a book that does.
Sorry to be of such little use.
If you want to some books from a Norse perspective...well lets just say I have a fair number of those.
