They do cruises from Australia to Honolulu? That's a long boat-ride. Probably like New Zealand, Tahiti, Honolulu? I had no idea - I always just figured the Aussies flew in for the booze, what with the high price of alcohol in Australia - or at least thats the impression I got working at Don Ho's Island Grill (no more). Let me know if you have any questions about Hawaii - I know Oahu really well, Maui a little, and the Big Island decently, Kauai and Molokai second-hand. Waikiki is a necessary evil to keep to the tourists from driving us locals lolo (crazy). You can PM me with any questions in the DU2 (for now) or the DU3.
