I miss the good ol MRE's with the green heater bag in the brown heavy duty pouch

I'd love to get a few cases of these to take camping or to keep on hand just in case. I know it's getting harder to find legitimate recently made mre's, and I dont want to wheel and deal with people at gun shows for them either.

So I started looking at the Survival buckets of food that are sold all over the internet (and on wacko radio)

I was just wondering if anyone here had any recs on which were good, which to stay away from....

They sell Mountain House at REI and other outdoor stores but those get pricey.
