If you buy a drill, you will find infinite uses for it. I would suggest a battery operated with enough power to drill a hole and to screw things into the wall. Make sure it fits your hand and is the right weight. Spend some time at the local hardware or online store and check them out.

I have owned many and I finally bought a really good tool and it is a dream.
