First, let me say how glad I am you posted this here in the Mental Health Support Group........it's one of my subscriptions!
Now. Wow, what a ride. You describe your near-descent into that dark place so vividly that I was right there with you. And it was scary.
The book seems like an excellent topic for you and your therapist. They can so often show us things we might never have realized on our own. I've been in therapy since 2006 and she and I have had some great conversations along the way. If you're curious as to why, PM me. Or maybe you already know...
Anyway, I'm glad to see you growing. It's never too late.
