Yeah, I grew up with abuse and sometimes they like to try to continue the abuse even when you try to get away.

My husband is 100% supportive of me going no contact because he’s seen how I get mistreated and he thinks my family members are nutcases essentially.

So, yeah, it’s more them than me but things like this are always painful just the same.
