5. I have a unit similar to this, it goes on the inside of the wrist

Take a reading every minute or two as you relax in a reclining position and breathe deeply with slow inhalation and exhalation maybe five to ten times per minute. The longer you do it the more effective it is.

I just try to let my body melt into the chair, I have some relaxation music/tones/surf sounds on an mp3 player and I put headphones on.

Something like this for music works for me, but whatever floats your boat.




It's important to relax for a few minutes and be silent when you're having your BP checked at the doctor's too, as I said, just speaking will drive your BP up.
