You may remember David Ermold and David Moore.

They were the two men who were denied a marriage license in 2015 by Rowan County clerk Kim Davis.

Davis was held in contempt of court in 2015 and sent to jail for five days, and was released only after her staff issued Moore and Ermold their marriage license.

Now after suing Davis for damages, Ermold and Moore have just been awarded $50,000 each by a jury in Ashland, Kentucky.

Without a doubt these two men did not deserve to have to jump through all these additional hoops just to get married, right?
