because no carefully how you parse a search, if it's more than 2 years old, Google (or any privacy service that uses it) will not allow you to access it. And no, plowing through 40 pages of results will not get you there. Proper names are turned into street names, etc.

Google drove other search engines out of business because it delivered rapid and pretty specific results. Somebody monkeyed around with the algorithm about 3 years ago and it's been caca ever since.

It makes me long for the days of competing, clunky search engines with silly names. At least they weren't as myopic.

If the fucking thing still worked, people might be upset about this. Somehow, I doubt that will be the case.
