It has all the hallmarks of one developing - came out of left field, unexpected, dominos falling slowly.

The rest of the world is watching, trying to protect itself from the slow crumbling of the American economy.

The effect will filter down to every single person and business entity around the world, so yes, you are watching the world economy on a downhill slide.
