Kauai just switched Friday night football to Saturday day games because the lights disorient Newell's shearwater birds. I see no reason why Hawaii should be doing big, ugly projects with even the potential to further harm the bird populations. Just makes no sense...

Hawaii has done a very poor job of managing it's biggest resource which is it's outdoors.
