I was on the 16th St. Mall e-biking with a friend (she was on an e-scooter). Popped into a Mexican restaurant to wait it out.
I missed the hail storm at Red Rocks that made the national news---I think that was Wednesday. 4 of the 8 of us went to see Widespread Panic at the Red Rocks on Friday. Took a "party bus" out from Zeppelin Station. Ubered back to DTC and got exactly 1 hour of sleep before we had to get up at 2:30 to fly home.
Ugh. I spent most of yesterday/part of today recovering---but it was worth it!
I went to a restaurant that I had been to in February--Linger--and it was not as good as it was then and the people that went with gave me a hard time about the suggestion.
But, major events that I enjoyed:
Went straight from airport upon arrival to Rocky Mountain National Park. Absolutely no traffic, problems, or issues. Powerful natural beauty. Ate dinner in a Mexican restaurant in Estes Park next to a river.
Went to an Armenian restaurant--House of Bread--that was accessible from the hotel's courtesy shuttle.
Went downtown on Thursday (e-biked for first time, had fun, caught in some rain).
Red Rocks---amazing place/great band. Bus let us off at the top but a friend and I walked down to the bottom for some concessions. I don't know if was the elevation/less oxygen or our general travel tiredness, but the walk back up wiped us out!
I don't know how to post pictures but when I figure it out I will update.
