when i homeschooled my kids, everyone, and i mean everyone, asked- what about socialization?
me- school is where kids go to get un-socialized. to only get along w kids their own age, and mostly, their own demographic. my kids learned to get along w all kinds of ppl.
they got on just as well w adults as other kids.
(of course, what they rly meant was- where will they learn to walk in straight lines, keep their mouths shut, and follow the rules.)

btn those days and the fact the we lived in 1 of the most diverse zipcodes in the country, they dont have a prejudiced bone in their bodies.
