2. Red states are the most vulnerable

Let's see:

North Carolina - 3,375 miles of coastline
South Carolina - 2,876 miles of tidal coastline including its many islands and rivers
Florida - 1,350 miles of coastline (probably more if you add up the islands, etc.)
Alabama - 607 miles of coastline
Mississippi - 359 miles of coastline
Louisiana - over 1,700 miles of coastline (could be much higher due to the delta)
Texas - 3,300 miles including islands, rivers and estuaries

All of these states have had damaging hurricanes in recent years. When the next ones hit, FEMA won't be there to help but hopefully, Trump will show up to toss paper towels to the residents.

The vulnerabilities of these states and their Republican governments' inability to provide for their residents is exactly why my wife and I did not consider any of them for a retirement home. They are all going to be seriously damaged if Trump demolishes FEMA.
