The decline in the public actually purchasing hard-copy books has been declining for several decades...WAYYY before Trump was even thought about... It is a paradigm shift that has been changing for years.

It has zero to do with Trump

This lack of book purchase may affect the writer's ability to enunciate or not? However, I suspect that the reading is made up by reading digital by those so inclined.
