... and the sooner more opponents get on board with calling it that, the more effective we will be in tying that millstone around Republican necks.
There is nothing "superficial" about effective vs. ineffective framing. I think some people think they are capturing 47's absurdity. They are not. It is sooooo counterproductive to adopt the language of those you oppose. And language matters.

We can protect our freedoms, our families, and our futures, but to do it, we need a clear, true, powerful, and activating narrative that motivates people to join with others to confront the bullies who seek to control us.
We must STOP opposing the regime by implicitly defending a status quo that Americans across the political spectrum have rejected as failing them.
We must STOP running after the latest horror and talk about those horrors within the same narrative frame.
We must learn to say fewer things, and we must learn to say the things we do say over, and over, and over until we are tired of hearing ourselves, and then keep repeating.
Anat Shenker-Osorio is the clearest voice I have heard on the why and how. She has also created the best guide I've seen to date.
She was on the That Trippi Show April 18th, (episode: "If you want to touch a nerve, you have to touch a nerve " )
Joe has has called the episode perhaps the most important episode to date. I absolutely agree and wanted to encourage anyone who missed it to find the time to listen.
And, even more importantly, do whatever you can to help make Anat's Freedom Over Fascism Toolkit the go-to guide for ourselves, our electeds, our community leaders, our state parties, the DNC, 2026 candidates, and any other person or entity committed to reclaiming our government from the bullies and the billionaires they serve. Help ignite American optimism and belief in our own power to build a society and government we can be proud of.
