This Is What Democrats Should have Already Done

Enough with the stern letters
Enough with co-sponsoring a bad immigration bill
Enough with Schumer releasing Senators to vote for bad bills.

Call a fucking meeting of every Democrat in the House and Senate

Get out a white board, pick members to run the meeting who are fighters,

Start fucking brainstorming what can be done to stop Trump and his Congressional co-conspirators. It is a bad fucking idea to publicly state you will work with traitors.

Stay in that meeting until you can come out with a clear message, with a clear path forward that everyone is united behind.

We unwashed Democrats have no clue where our party stands. I quit giving money, stop sending me texts. I will give money to the ACLU, The Southern Poverty law Center, and to AOC and Jasmine Crocket and other fighters.

Call a meeting now, let us know your mission statement and then send us texts for money.

If they can't raise hell on Trump pardoning violent criminals who attacked law enforcement officers, they should shut down their party.

Trump bragged about pardoning the criminals at his Las Vegas rally.

The good news is that there are actually are many good progressive Democrats in the House and Senate now. Unfortunately the leadership wants no part of that.

Jeffries seems a little more into the fight. But he learned from Pelosi, who was extraordinary at counting votes, but rarely took forceful action.

"It's the economy, stupid," I must point out:
It's the donors, dumbass.

For yea, though the economy IS the foremost issue for most voters, the donors have supplanted too many constituents in directing the behavior of elected officials.

We don't send older people into battle.

We need loud voices expressing everything everywhere.

We WILL pass Universal Health Care
not, we need to enroll more people into Obamacare
not, we can only do it incrementally
not , let's expand Medicare for all
not, we begin by lowering the price of insulin

We WELCOME DC, Puerto Rice, Guam and the other territories into Statehood (if they choose)
not, let's make DC a state
not, how can the US govn be more responsive to the PR?

===> a side issue for another day...any territory NEEDS voting representation in the Congress, whether a state or not

Social Security: There is NO CAP on income, everyone contributes.
(problem is Rich might not have reportable income because of investments and loopholes, therefore, they pay 2% of their investment value, just like retires have an RMD from their IRAs every year after age 73)
=========

please add your own suggestion.

And the reason is the end of the fairness doctrine. The media writ large are corporations, and as such they benefit from benefit from republican policies.
All of us can point to times the media has gone after democrats while ignoring the same behavior from republicans.
The result is the democrats are timid out of fear that the media will go after them, again.
