My sisters in California, where I grew up, can’t understand why I live in Minnesota. Now I can show them the difference between the two states. Beyond the four seasons, the lakes, the hills, the people (most of them!) there is the tradition of rock ribbed equal protection under the law baked into the civic ethos here. Michele Bachmann and her ilk don’t stand a chance of conquering this and imposing benighted brands of Xtianity on this State. I would go to the wall to protect her right to worship as she chooses because I am an American. Here in Minnesota, I feel most people would stand with me.
