because they're still trying to buy them and people who are seeing outrage after outrage in their states by a government agency turned Gestapo that all the slick commercials and ginned up scandals in the world haven't motivated the GOP to go to the polls to put their stamp of approval on more of the same.

Now they're threatening to "federalize" elections. Well, good luck to them and the Red Sox on that one since it would take a constitutional amendment ratified by 3/4 of the states and I don't see that happening. If he tries it by fiat, the tamest USSC in history will not uphold it. Only a few red states might comply, and they'd face full rebellion at the polls.

However, Romnno is right about one thing, the major news media in this country are not worthy of the name. They should be reporting this stuff and they're not doing it, probably out of fear of being arrested or sued, something that wouldn't stick in either case but which would be a pain in the ass until it gets resolved.
