Related: About this forumRachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell on Trump and the fight for Democracy - MSNBC LIVE
Were thrilled to share one of the most anticipated conversations from our recent MSNBCLIVE 25 event in New York City. Rachel Maddow and Lawrence ODonnell sit down to discuss coping with this political moment, the mechanics of presenting news, what we can learn from other tough moments in history and what civic actions, in their view, are most encouraging in this era.

(42,373 posts)1. The best part of many great parts: Rachel's telling America that MSNBC does not tell them what to say.
Starts at 20:20
It's good for the Internet demographic to learn from Lawrence and Rachel that MSNBC doesn't pay people to lie.
But the best part is that the more they reveal of themselves and their philosophy of life and broadcasting, the more Americans can trust Rachel and Lawrence not to lie, and just do their A blocks with "heart and humanity."
Thanks for this!

I haven't made it though the entire video yet, though I was very excited to find it! Definitely two of my all time favorites! (I have a bad cold so I've been sleeping a lot.)
