'The stupidity is unbelievable here': Nicolle Wallace on Lindsey Halligan texting grand jury info - Deadline - MSNBC

Michael Schmidt, New York Times Investigative Reporter, and Andrew Weissmann, former top prosecutor at the Justice Department, join Nicolle Wallace on Deadline: White House with reaction to new reporting detailing a text exchange between Trump appointed U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan and reporter Anna Bower, which prove Halligan has no clue what off the record actually means, but more importantly show her willing to disclose grand jury information with a reporter. - Aired on 10/21/2025.

Was this Michael Schmidt of the NYT? I couldn't tell from the on-screen identification.

I got the impression he was actually trying to pin some blame on the Democrats for this shit-show with Halligan/etc.
