'F**k You!': Basketball Fans Blame Ted Cruz 'Curse' For Another Brutal Loss
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Monday cheered on the University of Houston as the Cougars took on the Florida Gators in the NCAA Division I men’s basketball championship game.
The result? Yet another addition to the list of teams he’s “cursed” over the years.
Social media users have long speculated that Cruz has spelled trouble for the Houston Astros, the Texas Longhorns, the Dallas Cowboys and other squads he roots for when he catches a game in person.
And Monday was no different after the Houston Chronicle spotted Cruz in a suite with someone who appeared to be Texas Gov. Greg Abbott at the NCAA title game in San Antonio.
