How do I get rid of

the yellow highlight on "My Subs?" It always comes back. I posted in the other forum by mistake.

I find it distracting. It has been happening since the last DU update.

Thank you.

2. The yellow highlight is informing you that something you've subscribed to has an entry.

You click on it, and see what's going on. Of course, the more things (topics, people) that you're subscribed to, the more the yellow highlight will be on.

That's what it's supposed to do.

3. This has come up in a number of threads here, and there is no setting to disable it

Unfortunately. I find it highly distracting, and redundant to the "Subscribed Forums" section in the leftmost column that shows folders with new OPs as yellow.

What I do is just click on the "My Subs" button and immediately click on my browser's back arrow button, or hit the Alt LeftArrow keys. That gets rid of it for awhile

And consider not subscribing to any busy forums...
