Coping with Divorce or Separation

The crazy ex who tried to kill me is NOT being cooperative and it's chapping my hide!

Got subpoenaed for the criminal case again June 13th. Looking forward to nailing her ass to the wall with the TRUTH. So she's been down the mountain in the ElDorado foothills, wearing an ankle bracelet so she can't come near me.

Anyways - the damn divorce was SUPPOSED to be final last week. But the CAR is a stupid stickiing point and I am trying not to have a rage breakdown. Thank GOD/DESS I have a good lawyer!
So she "made" me buy her the car new when I got my inheritance, because she said if I ever kicked her out she needed a place to live, so the car was her backup. (yes I know, she "made me" sounds lame but it was an abusive fucked up relationship.)
Since the car was in her name only, the judge would most likely say it's a gift and give it to her fully. But I am managing to hold on to it and haggle for half.
Besides, I already told her probation officer she was trying to get a hold of it and she's a total flight risk! (she's from GA and would totally run from the courts... she's facing 15-20years for her attacks on me)

So she's trying to get me to just cut her a check and then she'll sign off the car... but I don't have any money left since she SPENT everything! so i can't 'buy her out'...

I offered to Fed-Ex the pinkslip to her to sign, so I can just HANDLE IT and then cut her the check. She says she doesn't trust me... and wants me to bring the keys and pinkslip to court when I testify...LMAO

So now I offered this convoluted thiing to have her sign the pinkslip at the courthouse in Placerville, I will go to the CarMax in Folsom, sell the car and bring the check back to the courthouse, then she can go to the bank and get me MY half...and I'd have to get a rental car to get back to Placerville and Home.

I am hoping my lawyer can convince her to do the EASY FedEX thing...

This is such a stressor and I cannot be without a vehicle since I am rebuilding my business and need a vehicle for the farmer's market gigs, etc...

Somebody light a freaking candle and pray for an easy and quick outcome. I cannot afford to lose this car outright, I have NO money left to buy a car... she spent everything I had in the bank...
