Nicolas Cage plays John Madden in upcoming bio-pic

I'll probably give this a shot when it airs:

Amazon MGM has unveiled the first look at Academy Award winners Nicolas Cage and Christian Bale in their roles as NFL legends John Madden and Al Davis respectively.

Directed by David O. Russell (Three Kings, The Fighter, American Hustle), Madden is the story of John Madden’s journey from Super Bowl-winning coach of the Raiders to his pioneering work during the creation of EA’s Madden NFL series and his emergence as a sports broadcasting icon.

Written by David O. Russell, based on an earlier script by Cambron Clark, Madden also features John Mulaney as Electronic Arts founder Trip Hawkins, Kathryn Hahn as John’s wife Virginia Madden, and Sienna Miller as Carol Davis, the wife of Raiders owner Al Davis.

No release date for the film has been revealed at this stage, but it is currently in production in Atlanta. The film was first revealed to be in the works back in mid-2023.

Even if I never watch it, it was worth the effort just to have pics of Cage as Madden. Xavier Breath May 17 #1

I don't. So I can watch it on her account, if the film is worth the time. I'll be monitoring the reviews, when they come in.
