Another trip, another car rental.

We went on a trip around the Greek Islands and at the end had four days to explore. So we rented a car to get around.

This time I the rental company set me up with a Yaris Cross hybrid. Toyota has buffed up the look a bit and raise it 1.25 inches. It has around 110 hp from a 1.5 liter 4 cylinder engine with an electric motor. What was nice is that we could squeeze in four large suitcases into the car. We took our tandem bike with us and it goes into 2 large cases. The ride was fine and handling okay. I wouldn't want a bigger car to get around in Athens or other Greek villages. Driving there is not for the faint of heart.

The biggest issue for me was the touch screen controls and all teh auto safety bells and alerts. If I owned it i would want to try and silence a good number of them.

Edit to add. I got 57 mpg combined milage for the trip.
