as love touches the temperature increases expectation is rising
so what is heat and what is hotness how is everything measured
of the body or of the atmosphere or are the two compromising
perspiration forms in tiny droplets dew dripping to be treasured
twice the warmth lies uncovered as a friction builds in motions
a giver and a receiver in unison the value of the gift cherished
once again a lover and the beloved sharing the sublime notions
used to be accused of using sin as a false morality has perished
as suddenly a cool breeze enters yet it is not time for a release
instead the groaning grows greater hands lips and bodies lock
while ignoring the little splinters the teeth and claws of a beast
clutching until the sooner is later living beneath a broken clock
time stirs the swirl of blankets senses sight and sound reemerge
love now awaits another banquet when desires once again surge
