With Greek yogurt, into which I will put dried pineapple and apricot bits. Top with toasted slivered almonds.

Toast with olive oil butter.

Hot tea: cranberry pomegranate.

blown over. Nice to see wet garden, but the wind is blowing today and probably dry out the soil. At least I know I don't have to water for a day or two.

A quarter inch isn't bad!

Got any leaves left? If so, you could chop them up and put them around the plants to keep the water in the soil.

We just got a glimpse of sunshine here....so maybe, just maybe it will dry out enough that I can get some vegetation chopped out.

my tomato plants, to hold moisture and prevent blight on the plants. The blight is in the soil. When it rains, it splatters soil onto the leaves and prematurely kills the tomato plant too early.

and yes, I know about that blight. As far as I know, a mulch is the only way to prevent it.

Breakfast for lunch since I laid in bed reading too long (ahhhh, Saturday!)

Tofu scrambler, WW English muffins with raspberry preserves, and the requited cuppa to wash it down.

Bliss! Now I just nosh as I wait for the Cubbies game to start. 🙂
