I find myself feeling a lot of anxiety lately. I'm sure that how everyone here is feeling. I've been listening

To a song lately that helps me. Reminds me I am not alone.

Don’t know if this will bring anyone else comfort, but I hope it will. Children singing always raises my spirits, too. Hope it works for you guys.

I'm a wreck. I sort of wish there was more open discussion of this in our media, but I also understand why that's probably a bad idea (it shows Trump we are afraid).

I hit a point last summer where I thought "It cannot possibly get any worse than this" meaning my anxiety, insomnia, difficulty in focusing, feeling of total loss of control of my world and feeling like a hidden refugee in my own country, or a guy in the Witness Protection Program. But as I sit here typing today, I can say it could and did get a lot worse.

It is kind of reassuring to know we are not the only ones.

and then band together, no matter who we are.

I went to at town hall in my red district. It was hosted by the Illinois Democratic Chair's Committee and featured Sean Casten. One of the people who spoke up during the question session is someone I know. She mentioned that she is a member of the LBTQ community, and at long last, married to her partner. She spoke up about being afraid for her safety for the first time in her life. I think all of us feel that way to some degree, whether or not we are gay, trans, etc. TSF has not only robbed us of our democracy, he has taken away the feelings of confidence and security that a lot of us have always felt. We need to work together to reclaim our democracy and our right to feel secure and safe as American citizens.

From my hometown of Missoula and the children of Missoula singing. Missoula is extremely progressive and I’m proud of my hometown.

Maybe this song would be more to your liking? I hope,

It is very upbeat and cheerful.
