I remember walking the streets of West Hollywood in the late 1980's. . .

and guys were dying left and right all around me. It happened in other parts of the country too:

I always show younger people this picture of the San Francisco choir from 1993 with the only survivors in white to show how devastating AIDS was.

So many bright lights dimmed...

I traveled up and down the West Coast, collecting data from hospitals + clinics...
Even now it makes my ❤️❤️❤️ hurt...
