This is much, much larger than originally reported. Aeroflot has been grounded, period, the entire IT controlled and monitored infrastructure is no more. Not only have all passenger flights been canceled, Aeroflot was the main freight and airmail carrier, so those have been canceled, too.

Think about having every domestic passenger and freight airline in the US shut down overnight, that's how big this is. Oh, we'd still have Air France, British Airways, Air Canada, and other foreign carriers coming into the big international airports, but that's it.

The only question is how long it's going to take to repair this, all data will have to be painstakingly reloaded from maintenance to crew scheduling to refueling to ticket sales to baggage and freight handling and the list goes on and on.
