Israel said on Friday that it would soon allow other countries to drop aid from the air into the Gaza Strip during a widening humanitarian crisis in which several children have died of malnutrition.
Jordan and the United Arab Emirates were expected to begin airdrops in the coming days, according to COGAT, the Israeli military agency that regulates humanitarian affairs in Gaza.
Experts criticized the drops as largely symbolic and warned that they were unlikely to provide enough aid to the roughly two million Palestinians in Gaza, who are in dire conditions after 21 months of war.
Nearly one in three people in the territory is coping with food insecurity, according to the United Nations World Food Program. The Gaza health authorities say that acute malnutrition is rising and that children have died.

It is also too late, and too little. The starvation is now baked in.
If Israel really wanted to fulfill its obligations, it would not have done what it has, since March 2nd, when it imposed a total siege.
It knowingly allowed the starvation to be baked in. Because it's a fucking GENOCIDAL STATE!
Edited to add:
It would also have allowed unimpeded access for UN trucks and not have bombed and invaded the city in which the main UN/WHO aid hub is located (also bombed) in recent days - making it very difficult for humanitarians to do their job. It is STILL impeding UN aid. Yesterday it approved only 8 out of 16 UN requests to pick up aid and created insurmountable difficulties for two others. It does everything it can, for 21 months now, to slow, block or impede aid. We know why.

The UN has been telling us for months. I knew it was a pretext to kill UN aid delivery and set up GHF - the Genocidal Humanitarian Figleaf.
But you're right about Israel's incomprehensible "logic".

They WILL argue that Israel's actions are not at all what your lying eyes, your lying brain tell you! It's weirdly fascinating as well as cazy-making. Who needs it?
