Trump takes wrecking ball to U.S. Economy and White House (3 articles)

Wonder why all those economic reports have been censored or cancelled?

* “Roughly half of U.S. states are effectively in a recession and ‘hanging on by their fingertips,’ Moody’s chief economist says”. ...“if economic softness spreads from smaller, manufacturing-heavy states to giants like California or New York, the national economy could tip into recession” “...22 U.S. states are seeing their economies contract...while 13 are classified as “treading water.” https://fortune.com/2025/10/09/america-feels-recession-state-dependent-income-cohort-moody-zandi/ (I’m guessing we’re not great yet?)

* 22 states are in a recession or on the brink: Moody’s Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody’s Analytics, said the state’s problems stem from a mix of slowed-down immigration, increasing tariffs and federal job cuts.
According to Zandi, the following states are in a recession: Wyoming, Montana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Kansas, Massachusetts, Washington, Georgia, New Hampshire, Maryland, Rhode Island, Illinois, Delaware, Virginia, Oregon, Connecticut, South Dakota, New Jersey, Maine, Iowa, West Virginia and Washington, D.C. https://thehill.com/business/5549424-22-states-recession-moodys-analysis/

* America is 'going broke slowly' says J.P. Morgan, as national debt balloons and tariff revenue looks shaky https://democraticunderground.com/100220732090
