A Maryland woman has been arrested in Florida on a charge of hitting a child on a plane.

Kristy Lee Crampton was detained by police after an alleged outburst that occurred on an Allegiant Airlines flight that was headed for Hagerstown, Maryland, on Monday.

According to Sanford Airport Police, Crampton told them the child called her “fat” and “Miss Piggy” as an argument escalated. Witnesses say after the child called Crampton names and said she she couldn’t fit in the airplane seat, Crampton responded by hitting the child and attempting to slam the child’s head into the airplane window.

10. What has the child been learning

at home about DEI? Empathy? Compassion? Christianity? (I'd lay odds her parents are "good" christians)

A child acts out in the public with what they learn (and get away with) at home. This child has been abused and neglected by parents. There should be a family court appearance, instead of just the woman who was called fat (although there is no reason for knocking a kid into a window!)

4. It sounds from the TV report that the woman might be the child's mother or guardian.

She also took his phone away from him and claimed she was just "disciplining" him. So it sounds like she wasn't a stranger to the child, more likely a parent or relative.

Crampton was interviewed, as was the victim. Police say that Crampton said the juvenile “had been very rude and disrespectful during their trip to Disney,” before saying that a verbal argument on the plane escalated to the juvenile calling her “fat” and “Miss Piggy”. Police say that Crampton took the juvenile’s phone away, resulting in the child pushing her arm off the armrest twice “before she responded by smacking them”.

8. Leave kids the fuck alone!

Kids can say whatever they want to me and have and I have never thought about violence towards them. Even last year while walking to my office in San Francisco a skateboard kid called me the N-word as he skated by. I just laughed it off and didn't even think about violence or yelling anything back. That is what the race baiters want! I have been called the N-word more times in the SF Bay Area and California than in any other state including the Deep South. Weird.
