Help!! I mislaid my iphone-- it's definitely in my house but I can't find it.
Is there a way I can locate it (electronically)?
The ringer is OFF

(5,351 posts)can use your desktop computer, tablet or laptop to use the Find My Phone feature. Not sure it can pinpoint exact location but its worth a try. Did you check between the couch cushions? Or pray to St. Anthony. That always makes works for me. 😊

(22,952 posts)Even with the ringer off, you might be able to hear it buzzing if you walk around
If that doesnt work, do you have another Apple device, like an iPad? If so, you may be able to use the Find My app to track the phone down.

It will make a sound whether it is on mute or not.

(41,934 posts)With a Samsung there is a way to make it ring off a computer. I dont know if that works with an iPhone.
Try and think when the last time was that you had it in your hand.
Sorry I cant help more.

(17,999 posts)Now, this is NOT the definitive answer, but my family bought me an Apple Watch, and when paired, it locates the phone with a really loud sonar sound, not the same as FindMy, which gets reported to your email.
They gave it to me in case I fall down, which I totally try not to do.
Everything has a dark case nowadays, it seems, so I am always thinking of painting cases bright green.
Also, here's an idea that might work, no guarantee.
Use another device or someone else's, with a (free) bluetooth finder app. It might zero in if you left bluetooth on.
