City of Madison to hold special election for District 1 seat in June

MADISON, Wis. -- A Special Election is scheduled to be held on June 17 for the City of Madison District 1 seat on the Dane County Board of Supervisors, the City of Madison announced in a statement Friday.

District 1 represents downtown Madison residents, specifically those who vote at the Madison Municipal Building, Central Library, Capitol Lakes, Madison Senior Center, Bethel Lutheran and 641 W. Main St. Apartments.

Voters can view their sample ballot on MyVote.WI.gov and may request absentee ballots.

Additionally, voters who live in assisted living facilities and qualified nursing homes are able to cast their absentee ballots next week.
