City of Hattiesburg gears up for general election
HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - Municipal general elections are next week, and the City of Hattiesburg is making sure folks are ready to head to the polls.
But, unless a voter lives in Ward 3, there’s not much to vote on.
The city’s general election is next Tuesday, June 3, but there’s only one contested race on the ballot: Ward 3 councilman.
Kind of a different election cycle for Hattiesburg this season,” said City Clerk Kermas Eaton.
