Kristi Noem will be giving a press conference at 4:30 this afternoon at the Henry Whipple Federal Building on ICE activities in the cities. A rapid response protest is being organized and anyone who can attend and is urged to do so. Those who could be subject to ICE harassment and detention are urged to stay safe and stay home.

She also did not confirm whether the President Trump plans to deploy the National Guard to assist.
Noem also criticized Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey for the city's longstanding policy prohibiting its employees from assisting with civil immigration enforcement.
Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the Bishop Whipple Building at Fort Snelling before Noem spoke. It started with a prayer by interfaith leaders, dozens of whom were in attendance.. . . The crowd grew to more than 600 as Noem began to speak.
