SPOTLIGHT RACE: Hollace "Holly" Lyon for AZ-LD17
Holly Lyon is an Air Force veteran, former educator, and proven leader running for the Arizona State House in Legislative District 17 to put service, accountability, and common-sense leadership back at the center of government.
Holly began her career as a 7th-grade math teacher before serving 26 years in the United States Air Force, rising to the rank of Colonel. During her service, she commanded twice, taught future military leaders, and helped oversee education, training, and strategic planning for tens of thousands of service members.
After retiring from the Air Force, Holly continued her work solving complex problems and delivering results. She’s running for State House because LD17 deserves experienced leadership that listens, works through differences, and focuses on practical solutions that put families and communities first.
