I hate that they grow only in that ugly state (ugly government, not ugly countryside).

but in texas they were spread by lady bird johnson . thats why they are the state flower.
this is actually a poor year for them do to the lack of rain especially last fall. but muleshoe bend has a lot of them this year which happens from time to time,I think its from the lake retreating during the drought leaving fertile soil behind.

and even though i live hear my opinion os the state government is a lot worse than ugly.....
